The year 2015 will be marked by a double commemoration: the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, and the 50th anniversary of Churchill's death.
The Churchill - de Gaulle exhibition takes a look back at the lives of these two men, their respective origins and careers, all the way to their deaths. Objects and speeches as well as archive documents, exceptionally on display for the first time, show the evolution of the relationship between these two great figures whose destinies were intertwined.

For this exhibition, two tanks, one French (the B1 Bis) and the other British (Matilda Mk II) will be on display in front of Les Invalides' north façade. These two tanks were used during the French campaign in 1940.
