An exceptional venue for prestige events
The Grand Drawing Room was the former council room and boasts a central location on the façade of the Invalides. Through the large bay windows, guests can enjoy a wonderful view, on one side over the main courtyard and the gilded dome of the Invalides, and the Esplanade des Invalides, the River Seine and the Alexandre III Bridge on the other. FIreplaces, monumental chandeliers, weaponry, portraits (Napoleon III, Louis XIV) and red velvet hangings all combine to provide dazzling elegance to this exceptional room, which was completely renovated in 2018.
The Grand Drawing Room is part of the outer gallery overlooking the main courtyard. It opens onto outdoor passages, so that in fine weather, in particular, visitors can enjoy the unique and majestic setting of the main courtyard.
The Salon has a surface area of 170 m² and can welcome 300 people for cocktail parties or 120 people for a seated lunch or dinner, as well as for concerts, conferences and business meetings.
