The role of the Musée de l'Armée in Mission Centenaire to commemorate the First World War.

Musée de l'Armée: part of Mission Centenaire

The First World War Centenary commission, Mission Centenaire, is a registered charity founded in 2012 by sixteen founding members. The Musée de l'Armée is one of the founding members. Its involvement in the group is down to its extensive First World War collection and its role bringing history to the masses. The Mission's scientific project entitled "comment penser la Première Guerre mondiale?" plays a vital role in the Musée de l'Armée. The Musée de l'Armée's Deputy Director, David Guillet, and President of the Société des Amis du Musée de l'Armée, Jean-Paul Amat are both on the Mission's scientific board.
