Visitor facilities

The Musée de l'Armée provides a number of services to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Cloakroom

A free cloakroom is provided by the Museum: please present your entrance ticket. You may leave your personal belongings there whilst you visit the Museum: your coats, jackets, umbrellas, caps, scooters, roller skates and bags (maximum size: 55 x 35 x 25 cm). 

Toilets

Toilets are available inside the Museum and are accessible to people with reduced mobility. There are also two sets of toilets within the Cour d'Honneur, on either side of the Church of Saint Louis des Invalides.

Lifts

The Museum wishes to draw your attention to the fact that the Dôme Church (Napoleon I’s tomb) is not accessible to disabled visitors (exterior and interior staircases).

Wheelchair loans

People with mobility difficulties can borrow a wheelchair* at the ticket desk on the Esplanade des Invalides and Place Vauban sides.

Proof of identity is required, to be left at the reception desk during your visit.

Cash machine

There is a cash machine in the hall near the ticket desk on the Place Vauban side.

As a one-off, the Army Museum will open its doors at 1 pm on Thursday 26 March. The museum can be accessed via 129 Rue de Grenelle or Place Vauban. Enjoy your visit!
