The Turenne Room is the former refectory of the Hôtel des Invalides. It is decorated with murals dating from the late 17th century to the glory of Louis XIV's great military campaigns. The room epitomises the splendour of France's golden age. It is directly accessible from the main courtyard and provides a unique setting for large-scale events.
The Turenne Room is near the Austerlitz auditorium (150 places), which can also be reserved for private functions and adapted to a range of events.
With a modular area of 330 m², it is the ideal venue for a wide range of functions: fashion shows, private concerts, symposia and conferences, product launches, cocktail parties (up to 300 guests) or prestige dinners (from 150 to 200 guests, depending on whether round tables or the traditional banquet tables are preferred, with the latter particularly well adapted to the layout of the room).
The Turenne Room is the only room in the museum where dances are authorised.
