Ticket office
The Musée de l'Armée is being renovated to give you a better welcome from June 2024. During the works, the Museum will remain open, with a few changes to the itinerary.
- Ticket office: on arrival, please go to the Museum ticket office located near the Dôme des Invalides to the south of the site: open daily from 10am to 5:30pm (8:30pm on the first Friday of each month).
- The extra ordinary cabinets : due to the Museum's extension and modernisation works, all the unusual cabinets are closed until June 2024.
- Opening times for the south entrance: The south entrance via Place Vauban is open from 2pm to 6pm. Opening times for the north entrance at 129 rue Grenelle (esplanade des Invalides) remain unchanged, from 10am to 6pm (10pm on the first Friday of each month).
Online ticket office
At the convenient and secure online ticket office, you can buy the following tickets:
- Museum tickets*;
- Concert tickets;
- Digital guide;
- Activities for young people.

* A Museum admission ticket gives you access to the permanent collections, the Dome Church, Tomb of Napoleon I, and the temporary exhibition, along with the Museum of the Order of the Liberation and the Museum of Relief Maps.
- Tickets bought online are queue jump tickets, so you don't have to wait at the tills.
- All tickets are bought on a secure payment site.
- A reservation fee of €1 per ticket is applied to your online reservations.
- You can use your smartphone to show tickets bought online. If you do not have a smartphone, you will have to print your tickets at home: you will not be able to enter the Museum without these printed tickets.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- Visitors entitled to discounted or free admission are invited to come to the ticket desks at the Museum.
Museum ticket desks
When you arrive, we invite you to go to the Museum ticket office located near the Dôme des Invalides to the south of the site: open every day from 10am to 5.30pm (8.30pm on the first Friday of each month).
The ticket desks are open from 10am until half an hour before the Museum closes.
Museum admission ticket machines are also available (full price tickets) in these areas.

To make sure you don't miss any of the essentials of the Museum and the Dôme, or the heritage and architecture of the Invalides, let yourself be guided through an audioguided tour with detailed comments on the key objects in the collections while giving a historical context of their creation and use. Also discover the current temporary exhibition with confidence.

- If you have to cancel an entrance ticket or an event ticket you have already purchased or booked, please provide us with your proof of purchase (ticket and purchase receipt) with your bank account details as well as your postal address by email : billetterie@musee-armee.fr, or by post to: Musée de l’Armée – Département billetterie et régie de recettes, 129 rue de Grenelle - 75007 Paris
In order to get a refund on your tickets you must provide valid proof. Please note that every effort will be made to respond to your request as soon as possible.
